This is a brand new, highly versatile, stereo zoom, trinocular microscope head mounted in a focussing ring on a top quality, articulated arm, ultra-long reach boom arm stand. It includes a photoport on the trinocular head onto which a camera can be mounted (ask me about adapters). Low glare, even illumination is provided by a fluorescent ring light. Additional magnification is provided by a pair of 20X eyepieces in addition to the standard 10X eyepieces. Further magnification is provided by a 2X auxiliary objective. Here are the magnifications you can achieve with the various combinations of accessories that are included. With 10X eyepieces inserted: 7X-45X. With 20X eyepieces inserted or the 2X auxiliary objective attached: 14X-90X. With 20X eyepieces inserted AND the 2X auxiliary objective attached: 28X-180X. I have many excellent cameras in stock - please ask if you would like one to be supplied. Also in stock are camera adapters for c-mount cameras, eyepiece cameras and DSLR cameras. This microscope comprises of six main parts. A high quality optics, all metal, UltraZOOM-1.

With a pair of 10X widefield, large field number eyepieces which gives a magnification range of 7X to 45X as supplied which can be further extended to 3.5X to 225X with additional optional eyepieces and screw-on objectives. A good quality manual (written in good English) is also supplied along with a dust cover. The eyepiece tubes can be adjusted to accommodate different interpupiliary distances.

There is also diopter adjustment on the eyepiece tube so slight variations in your eyes can be compensated for. This trinocular head is equipped with an adjustable vertical phototube which can take a variety of cameras, see below for the camera included with this outfit.

This ring has focus knobs on both sides and allows you to focus the microscope when in position. The focus knobs are connected to a high quality rack and pinion mechanism.

The tension of the knobs can be adjusted by counter-rotating one against the other. The head of the microscope can be freely rotated in the focussing ring and then locked into position with a knurled screw. The focussing ring has a 25mm hole at the back through which the'end-arbour' pole is passed to secure it to the stand. The focussing ring can be clamped into position at any height on the end arbour. Boom Arm Stand with unique U-Shape Desk Base for easy workspace (also available in G-Clamp version if required). This first class stand is a highly popular, highly stable long reach stand. It comprises of an ultra-stable U-shape metal base, a vertical pillar, a horizontal boom arm and an arbour clamp.

The arm is connected to a 25mm diameter end-arbour pole' which is held on a clampable hinged mounting. This allows the head to be tilted to any angle and clamped. This is a highly versatile, very high quality stand, over 1000 of these are in use in the UK without a single component failure.
